Alone Together -Fall Out Boy
Give me pain if that’s what’s real, it’s the price we pay to feel. The price of love is loss but still we pay, we love anyway.

‘Light’ from Next to Normal
Hurricane.
Posted by wildrequiem in Uncategorized on March 31, 2013
There’s a hurricane in my head. It’s always there, I cannot sleep. Sometimes it’s tiny, like a mouse. Sometimes it’s BIG, like a bear. I yell, “QUIET DOWN!” and pull my ears. It’s still there, it’s still there. I make a box, “you go in here”. It does not care, it does not fit. I grab it’s tail, I hang on tight. It whirls and whirls and whirls. I fall. I press my pillow to my ears. I shake my head and roar. It’s not scared. There’s a hurricane in my head. I cannot sleep! I cannot sleep!

“And when I’m free, will I be free to go?”
“Sure you will. And we’ll be free to kill you. It’s dangerous being free, but most come to like the taste o’ it.”

We Are Too Hard On Each Other by Margaret Atwood
Posted by wildrequiem in Uncategorized on December 6, 2012
i
We are hard on each other
and call it honesty,
choosing our jagged truths
with care and aiming them across
the neutral table.
The things we say are
true; it is our crooked
aims, our choices
turn them criminal.
ii
Of course your lies
are more amusing:
you make them new each time.
Your truths, painful and boring
repeat themselves over & over
perhaps because you own
so few of them
iii
A truth should exist,
it should not be used
like this. If I love you
is that a fact or a weapon?
-Margaret Atwood
things the world should know
“Do not read, as children do, to amuse yourself, or like the ambitious, for the purpose of instruction. No, read in order to live.” -Gustave Flaubert

Howl
Posted by wildrequiem in Uncategorized on October 9, 2012
Hold me like i’m precious dear
hold me like I’m right.
Hold me ’til the sun shines clear
and fades away the night.
Keep me safe from monsters dear
Keep me, hold on tight
Keep me close and don’t you fear
I’ll guide you with an angel’s light.
Tell me that you love me dear
Tell me it’s alright
Tell the truth, I’ll shed a tear
Until the end it’s Death we fight.
On Love – Kahlil Gibran

When love beckons to you, follow him,
Though his ways are hard and steep.
And when his wings enfold you yield to him,
Though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound you.
And when he speaks to you believe in him,
Though his voice may shatter your dreams
as the north wind lays waste the garden.
For even as love crowns you so shall he crucify you. Even as he is for your growth so is he for your pruning.
Even as he ascends to your height and caresses your tenderest branches that quiver in the sun,
So shall he descend to your roots and shake them in their clinging to the earth.
Like sheaves of corn he gathers you unto himself.
He threshes you to make you naked.
He sifts you to free you from your husks.
He grinds you to whiteness.
He kneads you until you are pliant;
And then he assigns you to his sacred fire, that you may become sacred bread for God’s sacred feast.
All these things shall love do unto you that you may know the secrets of your heart, and in that knowledge become a fragment of Life’s heart.
But if in your fear you would seek only love’s peace and love’s pleasure,
Then it is better for you that you cover your nakedness and pass out of love’s threshing-floor,
Into the seasonless world where you shall laugh, but not all of your laughter, and weep, but not all of your tears.
Love gives naught but itself and takes naught but from itself.
Love possesses not nor would it be possessed;
For love is sufficient unto love.
When you love you should not say, “God is in my heart,” but rather, “I am in the heart of God.”
And think not you can direct the course of love, for love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.
Love has no other desire but to fulfill itself.
But if you love and must needs have desires, let these be your desires:
To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night.
To know the pain of too much tenderness.
To be wounded by your own understanding of love;
And to bleed willingly and joyfully.
To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving;
To rest at the noon hour and meditate love’s ecstasy;
To return home at eventide with gratitude;
And then to sleep with a prayer for the beloved in your heart and a song of praise upon your lips.
Mi Amor

Tienes que entender, que no siempre entenderás.
No siempre te querré, no siempre me querrás.
Pero tienes que entender,
que siempre te amare, y siempre me amaras.
Necesito más que amor, es tu ausencia mi dolor
Mi anhelo es tu piel, tus besos, tu calor
Necesito no solo amor
Quiero toda tu pasión, y ademas tu corazón.
Como la mariposa de la noche, y la llama
La atraccion fatal que la enciende, y la mata,
Igual somos los dos, yo la mariposa
Y tu mi llama, mi amor.
The Spider and the Fly
Posted by wildrequiem in Uncategorized on August 27, 2012
“If it’s a game we were playing, that was never my intention.”
said the fly to the spider, as they hung from a web.
“It’s not a game,” said the spider, “it’s real,” said the spider
and they spoke and dreamt and laughed.
“If it’s a game I’m losing, I’m believing all your words”
said the fly to the spider, adorning the web with dew.
“It’s not a game,” said the spider, “I believe yours too”
and they cried and danced and slept.
“If it’s a game I’m sorry, I never even knew”
said the fly to the spider, as rain came pouring down.
“It’s not a game!” said the spider, “believe me this is true!”
and the fly looked at the spider, as the rain washed them away.
